Our cabins are located in Laughton East Sussex. The village, mentioned in the Domesday Book, sits five miles east of the historic county town of Lewes,

Absolutely amazing stay four days over Christmas. Attention to detail is second to none. Even down to Christmas decorations.Underfloor heating works very well even with outside temps below zero. We thank Joe and Shirley and look forward to our next visit.

We celebrated our wedding anniversary here, and it was an amazing experience. The place is beautiful and very cozy. The cabin is elegant and well-maintained, and everything inside is lovely. Joe is incredibly kind and accommodating. We will definitely come back again. It is truly worth it.

We had a wonderful stay at Light Farm Cabins! The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the interior was modern yet cosy, with every little detail thoughtfully considered. From the moment we arrived, everything was easy—access was straightforward, and the cabins were simple to find.
Joe and Shirley were such welcoming hosts, making the booking process and communication effortless. We really appreciated the thoughtful touches, like essentials in the fridge and biscuits waiting for us on arrival.
We stayed with our children, who loved exploring the beautiful countryside surroundings, while we enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and stunning scenery. It was the perfect escape for relaxation and family time. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and a truly memorable stay!

We had an absolutely amazing stay with our 1-year-old baby! From the very first message, Joe and Shirley were incredibly professional, kind, and welcoming. Their communication was fast and clear, and they made everything so easy for us , we instantly felt we were in good hands.
The cabin itself was just perfect: beautifully designed, spotless, cozy, and surrounded by the most peaceful and idyllic scenery. Every little detail had been carefully thought of, from the amenities to the warm atmosphere that made it feel like home.
The area is stunning and full of charm, and you can really tell that Joe and Shirley put their heart into making sure their guests have the best possible experience. They go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable, relaxed, and truly cared for.
Everything was simply perfect. We left feeling happy, rested, and already looking forward to coming back. We can’t recommend this place enough!

We recently stayed for 2 nights, and would happily return again in the future.
The warm welcome set the tone for our stay, with the owners being more than accommodating throughout our stay. The attention to detail within the cabin is fantastic and everything is clearly of high quality which makes the stay even better.
The cabins are in an idyllic setting and each is very private even though they are in close proximity.
We ordered an afternoon tea from one of their suppliers and were blown away by just how delicious it was and the portion sizes were more than generous.
We would highly recommend staying at Light Farm to anyone!

Just as great as the first! Joe and Shirley are perfect hosts, the location is superb - quiet, very well located for South Downs, Glyndebourne, etc. The cabin is well appointed, clean, everything we needed.

2 night stay in the Log Cabin at Light Farm, immaculately clean & tidy, luxury shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, tea, coffee, milk etc. Joe & Shirley were superb hosts, very attentative, nothing was too much trouble, looked after us really well felt we had known them for years! The bedding was luxurious (to the point we are going to buy some for our bed now). We had a firepit on sat night & sat out on decking until late taking in the peace & quiet and extra bonus is you can buy honey which Shirley looks after. We will definitely come back in the future 😉 thanks again to Joe & Shirley

I stayed 5 nights withy my 2 boys. We had a wonderful time staying at Light Farm Cabins.
It was perfect, great location, such a beautiful and peaceful setting. Lovely walks around farm fields to local village. The cabin was amazing had everything you could need, lots of little touches that made our stay even better. Super comfy beds, lovely quality bedding and towels.
It was extremely clean and everything inside the cabin was sparkling and new. Joe and Shirley were great hosts very welcoming and happy to give help and advice on the area and things to do.
I would highly recommend staying at Light Farm Cabins and we will definitely be returning when next in the area.

Lovely place, such a warm and welcoming reception from the hosts and throughout our stay. In a fantastic location. It was peaceful and within a 15-20min drive to Lewes Town.
The cabin was beautifully done, had everything we needed (x1 adult and x2 energetic boys). The underfloor heating was appreciated. Highly recommended.

We had a brilliant 3 night stay in Cabin 1 - two adults and a baby. The cabin is well stocked, very comfy bed and has everything you could need. A lot of care and thought has gone into setting up the cabins and the USB charger sockets are appreciated!
Communication with Joe was easy and clear, very easy to find and clear parking setup.
We went for runs around the area which is a lovely loop including the village shop for some excellent cakes and a brownie.
One evening was spent at glyndebourne and location is great.
Beachy head and Brighton is easily accessible for day trips.
Would recommend and hope to come back.

Last weekend I was taken away by a dear friend with another dear friend to light farm which was the most stunning& beautiful place !! We stayed in an amazing log cabin with everything in it you could possibly need from top of the range bedding, every accessory was available & there was an information folder of places to visit, walks & local restaurants & pubs to eat at, it had all the information in it that you could need when away !! no expense had been spared . We were welcomed by Joe & Shirley who were so lovely & made us feel so welcome . We had our own patio area with a table & chairs over looking the most beautiful views & a bbq was also available for us . I would highly recommend light farm to anyone who wants time away in a top of the range cabin with everything in it you could possibly want on a beautiful setting !!! A massive well done to Joe & Shirley on your new adventure at light farm & keep doing what your doing !!! Faultless & I will definitely return

We had a fabulous stay at Light Farm. The cabin was extremely comfortable, spotlessly clean, and had everything we could have wanted. The local area is beautiful with so much to do. Highly recommended. A great place to stay.
